Did you ever think that maybe, right this second, you’re standing on the promise land, only you’re too caught up in your ideas of what it would be like when you found it that you don’t even recognize it? Too analytical to realize wonderland is at your fingertips, how you control the mouse, able to make everything dance on the screen as if your brain was the actual CPU instead of semi-metal conductors and flashing little LEDs. Tonight I seriously paid attention a song I’ve been singing along to for a few months now. For the first time, the lyrics clicked and it got me thinking about how something can sit right under our noses and go undetected even if we recognize it. Just something to think about, if you dare follow my thought pattern. If that’s your game, beware, the rules are quite unfair.
